    Menopause weight loss: Use specific training method to focus on burning more fat



    THE MENOPAUSE causes an oestrogen deficiency which is believed to impair women's ability to use fat as an energy source. But a recent study found that post-menopausal women did not differ from women who had not yet reached menopause when it came to burning fat through exercise. Experts suggested they should focus on endurance exercises in particular to "improve the ability" to burn fat.
